APRA releases Annual Superannuation Bulletin for 2018/19 financial year

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has released the Annual Superannuation Bulletin for the year ended 30 June 2019.

Key statistics for the superannuation industry as at 30 June 2019: 

Total superannuation assets

$2,878.7 billion

Total APRA-regulated assets

$1,924.8 billion

Of which: total assets in MySuper products

$759.1 billion

Total self-managed super fund assets

$747.6 billion

Exempt public sector superannuation schemes assets

$148.4 billion

Balance of life office statutory fund assets

$57.9 billion
